When the Boulangerie Patisserie
still called its small bakery storefront home, many guests were unaware that in
addition to the small seating area outside there was also seating inside the
Galerie des Halles. From regional banners to a variety of advertisements, the
area felt like a bustling train station, particularly when a viewing of
Impressions de France let out.
After the recent refurbishment
and relocation, Boulangerie Patisserie les Halles retained this indoor seating
area, but much of the artwork in the area was changed. The posters adverts were
removed, and in their place a series of paintings depicting French women enticing
guests to sample the delicious baked goods appeared. Maybe these little details
aren’t worth more than a passing glance, but I simply love them!
