I’m not going to belabor a point today, or give you more blathering
than you need today. When EPCOT Center opened in 1982, the future was
definitely going to feature carpet covered walls. One of the most gorgeous
examples of this design principle, and one of the most artistic as well, was
the lobby of the Harvest Theater in The Land pavilion. Over the years, the
theater has played host to Symbiosis, Circle of Life: An Environmental Fable,
and, currently, Awesome Planet. However, the walls have remained the same, and
the definitely deserve to be celebrated.
